We build hot tubs for people who want to enjoy the outdoors.
That idea is deeply embedded in our brand. Tubclub was created from over 15 years of experience in wellness. Our founder, Chiel Kraai, started in 2009 when he sold his first tub.
Since then he has built brands such as Welvaere and Icetubs. Always with the same approach: developing practical wellness products with a strong sense of design and quality. After building these giants, it was time for the next chapter: Tubclub .
from hot tub to European brand
How a wish grew into a wellness giant
Started in the backyard of the father of an over-enthusiastic student, Chiel, who longed for a hot tub to spend his free time in a relaxing way in the open air. That bubbling in the open air brought so much pleasure that Chiel decided that more people should enjoy this.
He quickly sacrificed his own hot tub, but fortunately he soon found new ones. And another, and another. He found so many that the garden was littered with hot tubs. The smallest blade of grass didn't even see the sun anymore. It was time for his own place. One with more space and the opportunity to grow. That's how Welvaere came into being.

Serving the complete wellness market
Welvaere grew into one of the largest wellness brands in the Netherlands. But as the company grew, the realization grew that some customers were looking for something different.
Chiel opened his notepad and started drawing, because that has been his passion from an early age, coming up with new products, and so we developed the Woodtub with a unique height, with endless advantages and the Loungetub made entirely of stainless steel, unique & aimed at the highest segment.

Tubclub was founded in 2024 by Chiel Kraai, driven by the team consisting of Pepijn ter Harmsel & Marijn ter Harmsel, 2 ambitious brothers who work on Tubclub with Chiel every day.
It is the next chapter in the entrepreneurial story: a platform on which we develop multiple wellness brands. In 2024 we launched the Woodtub, in 2025 the Loungetub followed.
